On Saturday, it was our pleasure to attend the Michael Deery Cup, which took place in Augher. This tournament was in memory of Michael, a young man from Augher, who unfortunately died at the young age of 8. The tournament was particularly meaningful to Mr Kavanagh, who knows the family very well. After a brilliant day of football, we are delighted to say that St Mary’s Teemore, were crowned the very first winners of the Michael Deery Cup. This is something that we were honoured to be involved in. We would like to thank the Deery family, for their kind invitation and Augher GFC for hosting the tournament. Thank you to all our children and parents for making the journey down. You were incredible!!
