The children in P2, have been learning of the positive effects Yoga has on the mind and body, during some outdoor sessions this week. Mrs Maguire was showing the class moves such as Vriksasana (tree pose), Ananda Balasana (happy baby pose) and Dhanurasana (bow pose) which aid in flexibility, strengthening core muscle groups and relaxing their little minds. I hope the boys and girls can now pass on these moves and teach some at home!
