In conjunction with Knockninny Credit Union and ‘Junior Savers Week’ 2023, we were delighted to welcome Mrs Cliona Hamill - CU staff member and delightful Mammy of our pupils Lorcan, Conleth and Joseph - to St Mary’s, this morning.
Cliona visited our lovely little girls and boys in Primary One and brought a gift for each one of them. Mrs Doogan and Mrs Gunn ensured that the warmest of welcomes was extended to Cliona.
When visiting St Mary’s, it was most uplifting to listen to Cliona reflect on the philosophy of the Credit Union Movement and how ‘People helping People’ is at the cornerstone of this philosophy - focusing on community and enhancing the financial well-being of all its members. Indeed, we all very much identify with and support Knockninny Credit Union’s aim of ‘Junior Savers Week’ initiative and encouraging all our children about the importance of saving for the future.
We thank Cliona, Ciara and colleagues at Knockninny CU and are proud to support and be associated with ‘Junior Savers Week’ 2023 which, this year, takes place from 25th September - 1st October.
